![]() ![]() But, when the food does arrive it's good. Room service takes forever so plan ahead. I'm not big on buffets but this place was superb. The Market Cafe is the buffet restaurant open for breakfast and lunch and they have a lot of options. You have to get out of the pool and actually eat there but it's better than the poolside food. The Seaside Grill is by the pool and the food is really good as was were the options. David was our server and he was wonderful as was the food. ![]() The food was good and the place is very nice. Portofino is their Italian restaurant and we had Salvatore providing us with exceptional service. ![]() There are traditional options made in a more gourmet style and they are amazing. El Patio is the Mexican restaurant and I really like the menu. Vladimir really went above and beyond to take care of us as well. Inside we also had Efer providing us with outstanding service and Eduardo was our hibachi chef and he put on a great show and the food was really good as well. Humberto was our server both nights and he was fantastic! If you can sit in his section you should. Once inside at the hibachi grill and again outside from the regular menu. We ate at every restaurant on the property and they were all good and offered both food that you would normally see on a menu and some more gourmet style options. The beach area is nice but you're not "on the beach" you're up about 20 feet and the current in front of the resort is too strong to swim in the sea so it's tough to cool down. We tried to stay at the far end of the pool away from the swim up bar because it seemed a little more relaxing. We spent our days at the pool and the drink service was excellent, Elias and Abelardo were fantastic. All of the staff on the property speak enough english to help you with whatever you need. There are plenty of options $$ for getting into Cabo if you want. The resort is far from Cabo San Lucas which wasn't a problem for us because we were planning to stay at the resort for our entire trip anyway. The room was clean and it was probably the nicest room I've ever had in Mexico. I think that we should have at least been informed of this at check-in so we could plan for it. But, because of the COVID restrictions everything at the resort closed at 10pm which was unexpected and we were never informed of this. Our vacation was during newly reinstated COVID restrictions but we still had a great time and never felt as though our health was at risk. Don't get me wrong, you can still get your drink on and have a good time but this is not the spring break wild and crazy resort. If you're looking for a very nice resort that's not all about partying and getting plastered then this is your place. ![]()
